Hey Campus Families! The following is a quick reminder,

 

  • Next Week is SPIRIT WEEK.
  1. Day One - Pajama Day
  2. Day two - Superhero Day
  3. Day Three - Decade Day (see below for each classes decade)
  4. Day Four - Tacky Day
  • Seniors: 90’s
  • Juniors: 60’s
  • Sophomores: 80’s
  • Freshmen: 70’s
  • Middle School: 50’s

There will be prizes for each day, so students need to go “all out!”

 

  • Thursday, February 25th is the deadline for the following:
  1. Senior Cruise Final Payment. All $640.00 needs to be in no later than 2:00pm, Thursday the 25th. ***See Below for more specific info on the cruise.
  2. Senior Add Portraits. Each Senior is allowed to bring in 3 pictures for a Senior Add to be placed in the back of the 09/10 Yearbook.
  3. Senior Shirt orders need to be placed and payed for.
  • Next Thursday, March 5th, The Yearbook & Prom Bundle will EXPIRE. Make sure to get yours before we stop selling them or run out. Remember 2 Prom Tickets and a 2009 - 2010 Yearbook regularly costs $120. Get them all together for ONLY $88!!!

Cruise Info***

  1. May 13th we will leave Peachtree City (Approx. 4am) & head to Port Canaveral, which is about 45 miles east of Orlando, Florida. The ship will embark around 5pm.
  2. There are two Ports-of-Call that the Disney Cruise Line Ship - THE WONDER - will stop at: Nassau & Castaway Cay, Bahamas.
  3. Sunday, May 16th the Ship will dock back at Port Canaveral, Florida, we will debark and head back to Peachtree City.
  4. The total cost of this trip is $640.00 & is due by this Thursday, February 25th. If you need to know how much you owe, please contact Jeannine Corley in the front office.
  5. Most students, including chaperones tend to bring at least $100.00 or more of spending money for miscellaneous expenses (special food on the way down, back, onboard & on the islands, shopping on the islands and ship, excursions, etc…). This amount is left entirely up to you and your student.
  6. There will be an informational meeting concerning specifics about this trip on Sunday, April 26th @ 2pm. It will be required for at least one parent and your student to attend.
  7. It is required as issued by US law to sail with a Passport. Therefore, I would suggest immediately ordering your students if you do not have one already. An easy way to do this is to visit your local post office.

    Hey Campus Families, Here’s some news for the month of February. Your students should have received a letter containing these announcements.

    • Campus Apparel. The Campus “Logo” Apparel is NOW Available!!! We have hooded “Logo” sweatshirts  for $26 and matching “Logo” sweatpants for $25. You can purchase them together for only $45. Add $5, & get a “Logo” t-shirt as well. Money is needed by February 11th!
    • Senior Shirts. The 2010 “SEN10R” Class Shirts will not be ordered until I have received the sizes and payments for each order. The deadline is this Thursday, February 4th!
    • Winter Break. It’s almost here! A whole week off! The Campus will be closed February 15th - 19th!
    • Prom & Yearbook Bundle. The 50 bundles are selling fast! Get your 2009 - 2010 yearbook and 2 prom tickets (Regularly sold: $40 a piece) for only $88 all together. You save almost $40.
    • Spirit Week. The dates have changed to the first week in March, the 1st - 4th.
    • Senior Add Portraits. The deadline for your individual Senior Add portraits for the yearbook is now the last Thursday in February, the 25th.
    • Senior Class Cruise. If you haven’t made your final payments, the total of $640 is due NO LATER than February, 25th.

  • Hello Campus Families,Welcome back to a new semester! There are so many exciting opportunities, activities and classes going on this Winter & Spring. A couple things I would like to highlight are:

    • The Yearbook & Prom Bundle:
    • We only have 50 of these available until March 5th. You can buy two Valediction Ball tickets and a 2009 - 2010 Yearbook for only $88. After March 5th or once we run out of 50 bundles, each item will run for $40 a piece. (then, for all three it would cost $120). You save over $35!!!
    • Martin Luther King Day
    • In reverence of this day, The Campus will be closed this coming Monday, January 18th.
    • Senior Cruise:
    • The Campus Senior Cruise is May 13th - 16th, 2010. We have almost filled all the spots available. For those of you that have paid your deposit of $200. Your next installment of $200 is due Thursday, January 28th.

          The Campus Student Life has a desire to make this year as fun as possible. If you have any ideas or inputs for us, please don’t hesitate to contact me asap!         3. It’s November, which means Christmas is right around the corner!! However, before we get to Christmas we have a few other events taking place. Listed below are our activities and information for the rest of the month of November.

          • School pictures were taken on Nov. 3rd and parents will have the opportunity to purchase packets soon. One picture of your student will be sent home with packet options & prices. If you are interested in purchasing a packet, send money to the school and the packet will be returned promptly.
          • Operation Christmas Child is this month. Each grade level has the opportunity to bring in shoe boxes filled with gifts for overseas children in need. The grade level with the highest percentage of OCC boxes will receive a pizza party in December. The boxes are due Thursday, November 19th. For information and rules please pick up an OCC flyer in the Student Life office.
          • The 1st annual Campus wide MEGA-Field Day is Thursday, November 19th. This fundraiser allows students to join in teams of 5 and compete in different events in hopes of taking home the winning title. Teams are $3 a person or $15 a team. Parents, you are more than welcome to come watch and cheer on your student.
          • After two months of campaigning & a student body vote on election day, November 3rd, the S.tudent G.overnment A.ssociation is proud to announce the Election results of their Student Body President, Melanie Rowe for the 2009-2010 academic year. Congratulations, Melanie!
          • November is indeed a time to be thankful. Thanksgiving Break is almost here. There will be no classes the week of November, 23-27. Enjoy your Thanksgiving Break.

        6. Tuesday October 13th, Students will have the chance to experience Bodies, The Exhibition. We will be going to The Premier Exhibition Center @ Atlantic Station, in Midtown, Atlanta.

          • This Exhibition–which features actual human specimens–allows people of all ages access to sights and knowledge normally reserved only for medical professionals. Take the opportunity to peer inside yourself, to better understand how your elaborate and fascinating body works, and how you can become a more informed participant in your own health care. -Taken from the Bodies website - www.bodiestheexhibition.com 

          Permission slips will be given to students who express interest. This field trip is intended for our Anatomy & Biology classes however, we do have 30 spots available.
